SewArt is software for converting clipart or other forms of raster and vector images into an embroidery file.
Choose the option of SewArt auto digitizing the artwork for you, or with a variety of user controls available the user can also semi-manually digitize!
Below is a sample of the many many tools available to the user
Import an image into the SewArt workspace. Supported input formats include *.bmp, *.png, *.jpg, *.gif, *.wmf, and *.emf.
Unsupported formats can be pasted into the workspace.
Although the human eye only detects 3 colours, most images consist of many more colours. SewArt states the number of colours in an image and provides the tools available to help you clean up the image for embroidery.
Reducing, merging, despeckling, a paintbrush, pencil, and paint bucket are just
some of the tools available!
Once the image has been "cleaned" SewArt then provides
the user control over the stitching!
Angles, density, stitch length, underlay, stitch order and different fills will allow you to create your own unique design in PES, JEF, or XXX formats!
These formats can be converted to other formats using SewWhat or SewWhat-Pro or other embroidery editor programs.
The image below shows the design after the stitches have been saved.
Notice that the stitches were created in 0.5 seconds!
The blue was not chosen as a stitch colour resulting in a design
that as a Canadian I would be proud to use!
